Freestyle Snowboard & Ski in Les 2 Alpes

Yesterday, we arrived in les 2 Alpes (French Alps) for the 2008 Kids-Week edition. 25 Kids, snowboarders & skiers will compete all along the week to impress coaches and try to enter Oxbow Junior team.

David Livet, Flo Cuviller & Laurent Favre, professional Oxbow team riders will coach the kids until the end of the week, sharing with them, ride and after ride sessions.

Stormy weather today, we are expecting better conditions for the rest of the week. Everyday shootings will allow the kids to leave the camp with their own Photo CD to start or complete their books.

The best shots should be online by the end of the week.

Offshore Engineering - Angola

After a long period away from oilfields, it was a pleasure for me to come back in Angola to take part in a 6 weeks mission contracted by STAPEM Offshore, onboard SBM’s vessel Dynamic Installer. Good friends onboard, good job and some original pictures in an environment which is not easily accessible. For sure I’ll be back Offshore soon.

Oxbow Kids – Zannier Group

For the second year, I have been charged of Zannier’s Group Oxbow collection shooting. We organized this shooting in one of the most famous ski ressort in the World : Meribel and it’s amazing « 3 Vallées » domain. During 3 days the kids of the Oxbow ski & snowboard team modeled in front of my camera. Night lights ambiance and ski lifestyle to illustrate the fall & winter ’09 collection. A last Wave kiteboarding session in Carro

We were planning this shooting for a while, in fact since we came back from Morocco. We had not there the wave conditions we expected, and we had this photoshooting to complete as soon as possible. A sunny day with South-East wind in Carro, was an opportunity not to be missed. Two hours driving to join them on the spot, three hours shooting in amazing conditions, for what should be one of the last recorded session ever on this spot. Why ? Because local windsurfers had made reclamations to have the exclusivity of the access on this spot and obtain it. The sea, the waves where anybody should enjoy in respecting other users, is not free anymore. Shame on them ! Last shots soon online…

First leg of KWM spring challenge

After the success of the first season of his challenge, Jean-Michel and KWM club launched last Week-end the spring challenge. An amazing sunday on the beach, with family and kids. Three legs have been completed. Congratulation for this organisation and thanks for the good day we all spend together. A couple of photos here after and soon a short video of this event. PKRA Kite Speed 2008 PSL

For this first leg of the 2008 Speed World tour, riders had particularly strong conditions with wind up to 65 knots. No record broken during this week but a confirmation about the potential speed of F-One riders. Charlotte Consorti and Alex Caizergues won women and men events. Have a look on the short videoclip.

Another shooting, another experimentation of Alexandre who included Superheroes foetus in synthetic cristal. Wonder Woman’s, Hulk’s, Superman’s and Spiderman’s babies were crystallized to obtain those pieces of Art. To complete this serie, another Hot Chick and an Heart pretty endangered.

This collaboration could have never happened. I met Dan, the designer of this new brand in Barcelona during the Bread and Butter. Resting for a drink at the end of a long walking day, we started chatting about a one of those Champaign baby bottles… A few minutes later we realized that we were leaving just a few miles from each other in Southern France. Former pro basket-ball player, musician and painter, this self made artist also stylist and designer was working on the his first clothing collection. I had a look on his work, he had a look on mine, in a minute we decided to work together. Here is a preview of the result of this first collaboration. For sure, there will be more coming soon…
